    Are our bodies 'faulty'?

    When we are in pain or injured, it's easy to feel 'let down' by our bodies. I sustained an ACL injury in my early 30's and it was a pretty devastating time, having to watch my netball team 7 days later lose a Grandfinal and be helpless on the sideline. I had played netball since I was 12 and other than a couple of moderate ankle injuries and 3 babies, I had not missed many games. So when my ACL ruptured, I was pretty quick to blame my genetics - the current tally of family

    There is no doubt the human body slows down with age; but that does NOT mean we have to accept chronic pain, reduced fitness or poor health in general as the ‘ageing norm’. We need to age ‘smart’ by making an investment in time and thought and making the right choices to get the best out of our bodies.
