Emily is the newest member on board, ready and willing to fill Annie’s big shoes, and we believe she is ideally suited to this task.
Emily moved to the Barossa from Adelaide nearly 20 years ago, so is close to qualifying as a local. She completed High School here, and then went on to study hospitality. She has previously worked for Maggie Beer, running the online sales department and working as a barista. In the nine years she was with Maggie, apart from making enough coffee that she can now do it in her sleep, she also managed to complete a Diploma of Management.
Emily has shown just how adaptable she is by slipping into the swing of our practice with ease. Her efficiency is already an asset, and she has negotiated her way around the front desk without drama. She will have no trouble keeping us admin-challenged physios in line and organised.
Most weekends Emily can be found at the netball courts both as a player and as a junior coach for Nuri Netball Club. In her spare time, she likes to do a bit of cooking and baking. Should we get sick of making our own coffee, we may consider the possibility of installing a “proper” coffee machine, so we can stand back in awe of her mad barista skills.
