Welcome to our first student of 2022

We really enjoy having students, and love how the Barossa welcomes them into the clinic and helps support them. It is an honour to help shape the future of Health in our State.

We asked Nim to introduce himself, and here is the introduction he wanted to share!

Hello, my name is Nirmay Rai (but everyone calls me Nim) and I am a final year physiotherapy student at the University of South Australia undertaking my final placement at Barossa Physiotherapy. I was born in Sydney but have been living in Adelaide since I was two years old. I graduated from Glenunga International High School in 2013, completed a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences in 2016, and a Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences (Honours) the year after. I work at EcoCaddy, giving passengers unique tours of the city on a pedicab/rickshaw. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, bouldering/rock climbing, cycling, and photography outdoors — I'd like to explore Nuriootpa and the surrounding Barossa region. I'm looking forward to my time with the highly skilled physiotherapists and staff at Barossa Physiotherapy and working in the community.

If you would like to make a booking to see Nim, please contact the clinic. Appointments with Nim are great value at $20 per visit*.
